Day 1
Pick up your car at the airport and self-drive to your 4**** hotel in Vietri sul Mare, starting city of the unique Amalfi Coast – UNESCO World Heritage Site (private transfer option also available).
Guided walking tour and introduction to the city, including entrance to the XI century Cathedral of St. Matthew’s.
Mediterranean dinner in the old town of Salerno, starting city of the Amalfi Coast. Refined cuisine and a breathtaking wine list in elegant ancient rooms.
Day 2
First drive to the Amalfi Coast, one of the most breathtaking coastal roads in the world and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk or drive to the Museum of Ceramics in Raito in Villa Guariglia with a wonderful garden and exhibits of the ceramic tradition from several centuries.
Continue to local winery - walk through the vineyards and the lemon groves with a view over the bay of Salerno. Wine tasting of DOC wines and Mediterranean snacks, handmade by the winery owner (who is also an excellent cook!)
Dinner at a fish restaurant in the old town of Salerno.
Day 3
Morning in Amalfi, with visit to the Chiostro del Paradiso and the Cathedral, dedicated to the Apostle Andrew. Coffee break at renowned Pansa pastry shop with delicious baba rum or lemon almond cake.
Continuation to Ravello known as the city of music. Musicians, writers, painters, Hollywood stars loved the quiet beauty of this village, perched on the top of the cliff overlooking the entire bay. You will fall in love with the magic gardens of Villa Rufolo, where the composer Richard Wagner found inspiration for his Parsifal.
Free time for dinner.
Day 4
Full day in Cilento Region, starting with Paestum and its Greek temple complex - UNESCO world heritage sites. The best preserved temple complex outside Greece. Lunch in the in-house restaurant of the famous organic mozzarella farm Vannulo. Wine tasting in landmark winery of the Cilento cost, with typical local grape varieties and excellent local products.
Free time for dinner.
Day 5
Back on the Amalfi Coast today. Drive to the fisherman village of Furore, for a guided visit to the landmark winery of the area. Here you can admire the terraced vineyard overlooking the bay and the beautiful original vaulted cellar, where their excellent wines ripe.
Lunch and wine tasting will follow, with a breathtaking view over the cliffs.
Free time for dinner.
Day 6
Relaxing morning in the pretty village of Vietri sul Mare. Stroll the small cobblestone streets and enter the many local craft shops, where you can find the original Ceramica Vietrese.
In the afternoon, enjoy a walk in nearby downtown Salerno, where you can enjoy an aperitivo with the locals, sitting at one of the lively wine bars on the pedestrian area.
Farewell dinner.
