Day 1

Pick up your car at the airport and self-drive to your 4**** Spa Resort & Winery (private transfer option also available).

The resort is located in the Umbrian countryside - in the wine production area of renowned Sagrantino

di Montefalco DOCG - and produces its own DOC and DOCG wines and extra virgin olive oil.

A Welcome Dinner will be ready for you. Local delicacies, paired with the resort’s own produced wines, for the best start of your Tasteful Journey!

Day 2

Morning at leisure to enjoy the resort’s facilities, including outdoor pool and SPA area. Guided walk in the resort’s vineyards, followed by olive oil tasting and light lunch with wine pairing.

In the afternoon, explore the nearby medieval village of Todi, voted by the US Kentucky University as “the most liveable city in the world”. A perfect combination of architecture, history, traditions, and nature.

Have an aperitivo with the locals in the main square, followed by an à la carte gourmet dinner in a recommended restaurant.

Day 3

Morning at leisure to enjoy the resort facilities.

In the early afternoon, visit the Ancient Roman city of Carsulae, dating back to the IVth century BC:

walk around the perfectly preserved amphitheater and thermal baths and get the feeling of how the Romans used to live.

Cooking class and dinner with Chef Lorena at Percorsi con Gusto: enter in her home - a medieval residence dating back the 15th Century - in the medieval village of San Gemini. The village is included in the permanent list of I Borghi piu' belli d' Italia (the most beautiful Italian villages).

Day 4

In the morning, drive to Perugia to explore the beautiful city center. Enter the city by walking through the amazing tunnels of the Renaissance fortress Rocca Polina. Stop at local delicatessen, while exploring the city architectural treasures. Lunch a la carte in a recommended restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit the city of Assisi to admire its monumental churches. The city is the birthplace of St.Francis and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Free time for dinner.

Day 5

In the morning, visit the unique Etruscan village of Civita di Bagnoregio - the dying town - included in the tentative list of new UNESCO World Heritage sites. The magical and surreal atmosphere of this village will leave you out of breath.

Lunch will follow in a local winery in the Orvieto countryside, where you'll have the opportunity to visit their underground cellars and to taste their DOC wines.

In the afternoon, visit the magnificent city of Orvieto, with its Gothic Cathedral and its underground city.

Free time for dinner.

Day 6

In the morning, you will learn everything about truffles following the truffle hunter and his trained dogs through the wood. Observe the moment when the dogs start digging, followed by the extremely careful extraction from the soil.

In the afternoon, truffle cooking class and dinner with Chef Lorena at Percorsi con Gusto.
